It was nice to have a pre-arranged trip. Shantall was great to work with on the phone. She always answered our calls. There were quite a few snags. We needed someone at the airport with large signage to gather the group. The hotel was in a lovely location, but it took until 5:30pm to get checked-in. There was no printed itinerary to follow each day. Buses at the ballpark were difficult to find and parked in the wrong parking spot. Our trip leader, Alexis, was very kind but needed more experience. It would have been nice to have restaurant suggestions, local spots to visit, a meet and greet upon arrival and name tags or laynards.

I wanted an adventure that was different from the normal vacation, see parts of the United States from a different perspective, meet people from different backgrounds and cultures and enjoy the trips with few pressures of planning. The team at MLV worked with me to think outside the normal limits. I traveled comfortable for 4 days from Portland to Chicago, saw a Cubs game, toured Chicago at my own pace and relaxed thanks to Shantel. Great adventure.
