Major League Vacations started in Philadelphia with a simple idea: fans deserve more than a ticket. A great trip also needs the right hotel, the right arrival timing, the right seats, and a real person watching the details.
Today, that same idea guides every package we build. We help travelers follow their favorite teams, plan rivalry weekends, book championship trips, organize corporate outings, and build bucket-list sports vacations around major events.

Chief Operating Officer
Albert L. Cataline is a seasoned travel and sports-travel executive with more than 30 years of experience across travel, hospitality, group incentive, and sports entertainment. Since co-founding Major League Vacations in 1992, Al has played a central role in building the company from a traditional full-service travel agency into one of Philadelphia’s longstanding sports travel companies.
As Chief Operating Officer, Al oversees the day-to-day operations of Major League Vacations and is closely involved in strategic planning, business development, supplier relationships, group travel operations, and customer experience. His hands-on approach has helped establish MLV’s reputation for personal service and detailed execution, especially for complex sports and corporate travel programs.
Al has extensive experience designing and managing customized travel around professional and collegiate football, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, motorsports, soccer, and championship events. His background also includes corporate meetings, incentive programs, group transportation, hotel contracting, event logistics, private hospitality, and destination management.
A key part of Al’s role is coordinating the many moving pieces behind a successful group program. From hotel contracts and room blocks to airfare, ground transportation, event tickets, private dining, hospitality, and on-site logistics, he brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to ensuring every component works together.
Over more than three decades, Al has worked with individual travelers, sports fans, corporate groups, insurance organizations, incentive programs, and large-scale event participants. He has developed long-standing relationships with hotels, airlines, ticket providers, transportation companies, and destination partners throughout the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada, and international destinations.
Al’s philosophy is straightforward: great travel experiences are created by paying attention to the details most travelers never see. He continues to lead Major League Vacations with the entrepreneurial spirit that helped launch the company in 1992, staying involved from the initial planning stages through the completion of a trip.

Shanti is a passionate travel professional with more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, luxury service, sales, and customer experience. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for creating highly personalized travel experiences that go beyond traditional vacation planning, combining meticulous attention to detail with a genuine passion for helping people create unforgettable memories with the ones they love.
As a Travel Designer and Personal Travel Concierge at Major League Vacations, Shanti specializes in crafting customized sports travel experiences tailored to each client’s unique interests, travel style, and budget. Whether planning a once-in-a-lifetime bucket-list trip, a family vacation centered around a favorite team, or an unforgettable getaway for friends, she believes every journey should be as memorable as the event itself.
Drawing on her extensive background in luxury hospitality, operations, and guest services, Shantall takes pride in managing every detail of the travel experience – from flights, hotels, and game tickets to transportation, sightseeing, dining recommendations, and personalized itineraries. Her goal is to remove the stress of planning so her clients can focus on sharing incredible experiences and making lifelong memories together.
Before joining Major League Vacations, she held leadership positions with internationally recognized hospitality brands across Australia and Mexico, including luxury resorts, award-winning restaurants, and high-end vacation clubs. These experiences shaped her commitment to exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and experiences that consistently exceed expectations. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in hospitality and international hotel management, along with specialized certifications in wine, luxury hospitality, and customer experience.
Known for her warm, approachable personality and genuine dedication to her clients, Shanti builds lasting relationships by listening carefully to each traveler’s vision and transforming it into a seamless, thoughtfully designed experience.
