FAQ

NFL Travel Packages FAQ

Quick answers to the questions we get most often. For anything not covered, call 800-222-6256 or use the form above.

01When does the NFL season run?
The NFL regular season runs from September through early January (18 weeks). The playoffs run through January with the Super Bowl in early February. Preseason begins in early August.
02Which NFL stadiums do you cover?
All 30 NFL stadiums — Lambeau, Arrowhead, Soldier Field, AT&T Stadium, SoFi, MetLife, Highmark, Gillette Stadium, Hard Rock Stadium, and every other home venue. International games in London, Munich, Mexico City, São Paulo, and Madrid are also covered via our International Series page.
03What is included in an NFL package?
Game tickets, hotel accommodations (usually within a short drive of the stadium), round-trip airfare, airport transfers, and tailgate passes where applicable. VIP add-ons include club seats, suites, and stadium tours.
04How far in advance should I book?
Marquee games (Thanksgiving, Monday Night Football, rivalry weekends) should be booked 2-3 months ahead. Regular-season games have more flexibility and can be coordinated within weeks.
05Can I get club seats or suite access?
Yes. We source club-level seats, suites, and premium hospitality at every NFL stadium. Suite rentals are popular for groups of 10+.
06Do you offer tailgate packages?
Yes. Most NFL stadiums sell official tailgate lots and hospitality, and we secure access as part of the travel package. For Lambeau, Arrowhead, and Highmark, tailgating is essential to the experience.
07Do you cover NFL International Series?
Yes. NFL International games in London, Munich, Mexico City, São Paulo, and Madrid are covered via our International Series page, with airfare and multi-day European travel packages.
08What is your cancellation policy?
Terms vary by package and venue. Game ticket deposits have specific deadlines. Full cancellation policy is provided before booking.

About NFL Travel

Field notes for the trip — season structure, stadium personalities, traditions worth knowing.

The 18-Week NFL Regular Season
The NFL regular season features 17 games per team over 18 weeks (one bye). Games are played Thursday, Sunday, and Monday, with occasional Saturday games in the final weeks of the season.
Iconic NFL Stadiums
Lambeau Field (1957) is the NFL's most historic stadium, home to the Packers since the Lombardi era. Arrowhead has the loudest fan noise ever recorded. Soldier Field sits on Chicago's lakefront. SoFi Stadium is the league's most technologically advanced venue.
Tailgating Traditions
NFL tailgating is a sports-culture highlight. Arriving 4+ hours before kickoff is standard. Every team has its own traditions — the Ralph in Buffalo, the K in Kansas City, the Black Hole in Oakland (now LV), the Whiteout in Minnesota.
Thanksgiving Day NFL
The Detroit Lions have played on Thanksgiving every year since 1934 (minus WWII). The Dallas Cowboys have hosted since 1966. A prime-time third game has run since 2006. Travel packages for any of the three are popular holiday trips.
Cold-Weather Games
Late-season games at Lambeau, Highmark, Soldier Field, Arrowhead, and Cleveland's Huntington Bank Field can feature single-digit temps. Pack layers, hand warmers, and waterproof boots. The atmosphere is unmatched.
Making NFL Travel Great
Most NFL trips are 2-3 days: arrive Saturday, tailgate Sunday, fly home Monday. Stadiums outside major cities (Green Bay, Buffalo) benefit from extra lodging planning since rooms near the stadium book fast. Major-city stadiums offer more hotel flexibility.
